Romeo and Julia: Renaissance evenig with wine degustating, culinary and music in Kittsee
The events will take place July 13, July 14, July 20 and July 21 at 8pm.
In the center of Renaissance evening on the Kittsee castle is the balett Romeo and Julia. It will be rounded by a wide gastronomic offer and musical frame, which will be also devoted to the Renaissance epoch.
Balet Bratislava, a young dance troupe from the Slovak capital, together with Foliovision will bring you the Sergej Prokofjews version of Shakespeare’s tragedy to Kittsee. The dancers from Bratislava will be supported by the Grand Rapids Ballet Company of Michigan,USA. The play was specificly changed due to the place of performing – castle Kittsee, and adapted to local conditions. At the beginning of the play the dancers will occur in the park, among the audience, and move later in the evening both on stage and amidst the audience and interact with them. The audience has the opportunity during the performance to move freely, but there will be provided a limited number of seats, if necessary.
